Realising an Explicit Culture Goal in the post-2030 Development Framework

The Culture 2030 Goal Campaign has been working since the launch of Agenda 2030 to advocate both for recognition of the transversal impact of culture across the Sustainable Development Goals, but also for the establishment of culture as a goal in its own right. Representatives from the Campaign’s International

Steering Committee, who represent NGOs working on cultural issues with a large international reach and a leadership role in our fields, will present the Zero-draft, invite feedback, and propose next steps.

Enhancing education for vulnerable children

YOU Foundation and HOPE 87 have been implementing projects all around the world for 25 years aiming at promoting education for the most vulnerable children. One of the most recent examples of such collaboration was the humanitarian help to Ukrainian refugee children settled in Moldova. Additionally, in Moldova the partnership between the two NGOs implemented projects in the field of inclusive education for youth.

Coalitions in Action: International Day of the Girl Child

This event highlights the success of one of the informal coalitions of NGOs working towards UNESCO’s objectives. The group for the International Day of the Girl Child has recently celebrated this success in Agboville, Côte d’Ivoire, in partnership with the Côte d’Ivoire National Commission for UNESCO, and the Minister for the Family, Women and Children.
